Suzanne Brady

Office & Production Manager

Since joining In Cahootz in 2014 to assist with the Tackling Sectariainism workshops, Suzanne has expanded her skills as a Drama Facilitator to include project co-ordination, logistics, marketing and social media.

Her current role focuses on the day-to-day practicalities of dealing with the needs of the different creative activities so that artistic dreams are achieved.  In particular, she is responsible for all the production requirements for the theatre show and art exhibition, ensuring that the participants’ needs are met and that these two annual public events are well promoted and attended.

She is also a member of In Cahootz’s Barrhead Drama Creative Team, giving her the opportunity to employ her drama facilitation skills by devising work with children and young people.  She has a good track record in this area with organisations such as Citizens Theatre’s Kids@Citz, Nightschool and Saturday Citizens Project; Village Storytelling Centre’s Imagine Lab Workshops for pre-5s and their adults; Creative Therapies’ Schools Drama Therapy Programme and East Dunbartonshire’s Easter and Summer Holiday Programmes.

Suzanne has been working in the arts for over 20 years, putting into practice her firm belief that being creative is integral to people’s health and wellbeing and that the arts should be easily accessible to all.

Suzanne graduated from Motherwell College’s Acting & Performance Course and has worked with organisations such as Citizens Theatre, Parent Network Scotland and University of Glasgow, Gilmorehill G12.  She has a SQA Level 2 qualification in British Sign Language and has trained in Autism Awareness, First-Aid, Child Protection and Understanding Children & Young People’s Mental Health.
