Barrhead Drama Have Some News!

Barrhead Drama got some funding!

We’re absolutely thrilled to share some fantastic news!

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we were successful at Barrhead Housing Association’s Participatory Budgeting event on Saturday 25th April and have secured vital funding.

This means we can now pay our young volunteer the Real Living Wage from May through to December — a huge step forward for us.

A special mention to Alfie, who began his journey with In Cahootz Barrhead as a participant. Since August 2025, he’s been volunteering as a young adult, and it’s truly amazing that we’re now able to welcome him as a paid member of staff.

A heartfelt thank you to Barrhead Housing Association for their continued support, and to everyone in our community who voted for us — we couldn’t have done it without you!
